T.I. Dynamic Facades Twins Façade Expansion with Design Innovation
Façade innovator, T.I. Dynamic Facades, has expanded its twin skin Terracotta Rainscreen range to include module sizes up to 2,000mm in width, enhancing the design options available to architects and advancing the speed of installation.
Suitable for use on new build or overclad projects, the twin skin Terracotta Rainscreen system is available in module sizes ranging from 200mm to 400mm in height and in standard widths up to 1,600mm. Adding to this standard portfolio, T.I. Dynamic Facades now offers special order panel sizes of 600mm x 2,000mm, to accommodate flexibility of design.
From a design perspective, the 2,000mm wide panels require fewer fixing joints than the smaller modules, producing a ‘seamless’ finish for a striking visual effect. As fewer of these panels are required to cover the same surface area of the external envelope, the twin skin Terracotta Rainscreen system reduces the labour intensity of the installation, increasing the speed with which projects can be completed. Moreover, the amount of subframing and fixings required for the largest 2,000mm module size is significantly reduced, as it can be installed without using an intermediate rail on the carrier system.

Available in a wide choice of natural colours and surface finishes, including enamel and slate effects, the twin skin Terracotta Rainscreen system is suitable for use with both horizontal and vertical carrier systems. When used with T.I. Dynamic Facades’ innovative vertical T.I. Tracking system, the twin skin Terracotta Rainscreen streamlines the installation process and allows individual access to tile modules.
A durable and frost resistant façade option, the twin skin Terracotta Rainscreen is the only complete system of its kind to be fully accredited by the British Research Establishment (BRE). The system has also achieved certification for ventilated rainscreens from the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT).
