You’ve seen a glass worktop, but now consider a worktop made of crystallised glass! Opaque in appearance and yet light translucent, Urban Glass is the next stage in vanity top/worktop design and production.
Crystallised Glass may look delicate however looks can be deceiving. It is superior to granite in resistance to acid and alkali, whilst also being stronger and more resistant to abrasion and scratching. In conjunction with this Crystallised Glass panels are lighter than natural stone while also having a zero percent absorbency rate.
This is what makes Urban Glass so exciting. Perfect for use in areas of high usage (?) for example bar tops and bar/restaurant toilets.
The diversity of colours available can reflect any ones taste from a clean white to a bright blue. The possibilities are endless.
Unlike glass, crystallised glass is opaque in appearance, however it is also light translucent.
- Imagine a bar top in white NeoUrbansim crystallised glass. Smooth and uniform in appearance however flick a switch and the worktop starts to glow. As light is emitted from underneath it causes the worktop to illuminate.
